Debra Ann Hingeley was born September 28, 1958 to Karen D. (Walters) Frank and Lawrence Lee Kingery in Guthrie Center, Iowa. Debra attended school at Creston and Southeast Polk and received her GED from Stratford University. She later attended Southwestern Community College in Creston for a degree in Micro Computer Operator.
In 1978, Debra was united in marriage to John Ford. To this union five children were born, Jason, Nathan, Karrie, Joshua, and Joseph. They later divorced. Debra worked as a CMA and was a homemaker. On September 14, 1991 she was united in marriage to Tom Hingeley. They were married until his death in 1996.
Debra passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the Greater Regional Hospice House in Creston. She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence; mother Karen Frank; stepfather Wayne Frank; husband Tom; brother Michael Kingery; sister Cathy McNear.
Left to cherish her memory are her five children Jason Ford of Perry, Nathan Ford of Diagonal, Karrie (Venky) Murugan of North Carolina, Joshua Ford of Perry and Joseph (Tiana) Ford of Perry; three step-children Tim Hingeley of Nebraska, Christine Hicks of Texas and Quentin Hingeley of Diagonal; four sisters Diane Ford of New Mexico, Christi Kingery of Mount Ayr, Kaye Dee (Vern) Liesener of Creston and Wendy Frank (Donnie Gillispie) of Missouri; six grandchildren with two on the way; five step grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
