I am so sorry and shocked to hear that LouAnn is gone. We were partners in crime a long time ago. Even though I didn't see much of her as time went on in my heart she was always part of my story of who I am. I feel as if a very large heart has been rent from our world. Even if we know she is with the angels in heaven the world has suffered a great loss. The twinkle in her eye, the snap in her voice when she was being sarcastic, her smile and her willingness to just have fun I am sure will be sorely missed by those who loved her. Nell, David, Shannon and all the rest of her family and friends, I send my prayers and love.. So sorry <3

To Fred and Wilma, and Lou Ann's family, When Minerva called and told me of your untimely loss, My heart went out to you all. To Fred especially, your caring attitude to Wilma always reflected to me how good U were to Lou Ann. A loved one's death is always hard to accept and I pray that time will make it less painful. Remember she has "A Mansion Just Over The Hilltop" and someday you will meet her again...

Fred and Shannon, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I will never forget Lou Ann....she was so funny and such a kind person. You never quite knew what she was thinking or what she would say. Lou Ann and I shared a birthday, and always did a high 5 when we would meet. I haven't seen you, Fred or Shannon for years, but do still remember you all, back in the Mt. Vernon days and when Fred was at Hallmark. Hold those precious memories of Lou Ann close and know she is always riding on your shoulder. With my sincere sympathy, Annamae Baker Mt. Vernon

Lou Anns Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I worked with Lou Ann @ Mount Ayr HealthCare Center. She was always so much fun to work with - never a dull moment ! I remember one evening, she was walking a little funny, come to find out she had been trail riding the day before. She was so sore, but she enjoyed horse back riding and she had so much fun, she was ready to do it again the coming weekend. We joked about her bowed legs and laughed alot. She has touched so many lives, you should be very proud of her. Anyone who knew her, either loved or hated her, she spoke her mind and didn't mix her words. That's just how wonderful she was. May it give you some comfort to know that she is watching over you and still guiding you from above.
