Guestbook

Kenny and Dorothy were good friends to Jack''s brother and sister-in-law, Jean and Evelyn Manning. They had many, many happy times together.

After Kenny and Dorothy moved to Mt. Ayr, Kenny refinished furniture as a hobby, and I have a chest of drawers with handkerchief drawers on top that he refinished for me. He thought the white knobs on the handkerchief drawers were ugly, and wanted to replace them for me. But I told him that''s the way it was supposed to be.

We also play cards at their house, with the Beaconsfield card club.

Good memories.

Kim, sorry to hear of your father''s passing. Please give my condolences to your sister, too. I have fond memories of both your parents and times at your home during our HS years. Sorry I missed you during my Dad''s last days; it would have been good to reconnect again. Thinking of you!

Joyce, Thoughts and prayers sent your way. Remember coming to your house and spending the night when we were in high school - your parents were so very nice.

To Joyce and Kim:

We are sorry to hear of your Dad''s passing. Having lived through our parents'' passing, and the loss of our oldest daughter, Linda, last year, we know how hard it is to give them up. But memories sustain all of us, and we hope they will help you and your families.

We moved back to Beaconsfield in 1990, and played cards with your folks, Jean and Evelyn, and others, in the "Card Club". We had so much fun, so many good visits, and we will remember those good times.

Love to you, Jack and Phyllis
