Jeff White

Jeffrey Lynn White, son of Raymond C. & Imogene (Eastland) White, was born October 3, 1962 at Omaha, Nebraska.

Jeff was raised on a farm southeast of Mount Ayr. He graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 1981. He enjoyed farming and working with horses. When he did get off the farm, he took his pride and joy, his '72 Chevy Camaro, to town.

Jeff worked for his dad at the family body shop and at Andy Johnson Chevrolet in Mount Ayr. He also worked at the sale barn.

He spent many hours fishing and enjoyed water skiing and swimming when he could. He loved his nieces, whom he always carried candy for, and his great nieces, who helped him take care of the horses.

Jeff passed away May 27, 2015 at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Imogene White of Mount Ayr; brother Rodney White of Mount Ayr; nieces Brandy (Damien) Barton, Sandy White, and Amelia (Ethan) Baker; great nieces Haley Barton, Larissa Barton, and Abby Baker.

A memorial fund has been established in his name to be decided later.

Guestbook

Oh my sweet first cousin, Jeff. I wish I had been informed, but having left Omaha in 2002, my family always seems to get news of relatives via Pony Express. I remember many happy times on the farm and enjoyed everyone so much... I felt very sad that you passed on. Sad not for you, as you are with Jesus and without pain, but for the loved ones left behind. I am happy to know that you are at the foot of Jesus, joined with your dad. honey. By the way, say hello to our son Scott Webster, Sr. who passed August 12, 2016. He was going to be 39 in two months, but I as a believer thank Jesus for ending the pain he too was in. He passed while living in our home, so no matter how much love parents have for their children, God''s love is so much greater. He knew us before we were born and only He knows the hour of our death. I know not why you and Scott could not outlive us, but I stand on His Word and continue to give Him all the honor and all the glory. I pray those left behind realize that no matter the circumstances, God is in control. With much sincere love, Linda Kay and Family. 7/28/2017

I am very proud to call you my friend Jeff.
We spent many many hours working and playing together out at the race track.Watering, rolling and mowing, and oh yes the swims in the muddy pond in between loads of water.
Riding horses on the farm and getting in your dads way in the shop.
I do know that you do believe in our Lord and Savior so I''ll see you again my lil'' friend.
