So sorry to hear of Jan's passing. Sure didn't know she was that sick. I didn't see a funeral notice until Monday. You have my deepest sympathy. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Jan was a dear friend to us along with her husband John! We have so many fun things & parties the 10 of us did together!!! Ill be searching for photos that I will post as long as her page is up along with my own fb Sheila Wiese Shafer. The Super Bowl parties we always at their house! One very funny story ( between Jan & I) was the beautiful statues on their fireplace. I believe they were white. Im very into pottery. I had to ask Jan about them. In her Jan kinda of humor she say, those are my dead cat urns. I said in schlock What!!! This was back before everyone was doing it !!! When I could wrap my head around it we both laughed so much we were asked to go to the kitchen if we werent going to watch the game!!!!

"Like a comet
, blazing 'cross the evening sky, gone too soon, like a rainbow fading in the twinkling of an eye, gone too soon shiny and sparkly and splendidly bright
here one day gone one night." Jan will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. Rest in peace for eternity, she who in life, tirelessly worked.
"And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest." Hebrews 4:5 KJV

My deepest condolences to John and Jan's family.
