Carol Ann Kinder

Carol Ann (England) Varner Kinder, born May 19, 1945 in Page County Iowa. Oldest child of Everitt "Spec" and June (Hutchinson) England. Carol Ann grew up in the Clearfield community and attended Clearfield Community School were she was active in cheerleading and a majorette, and reigned as homecoming queen her senior year in 1963. Carol Ann's real passion and first love were her horses, we are certain that many of the worlds problems were solved by Carol Ann while on horseback.
After graduation Carol Ann made the move to the big city of Des Moines with her life long friend Kathy Beggs Flam. Carol lasted a whole 4 weeks away from home, found that she hated the city life and decided to come home to Clearfield where she promptly married her high school sweetheart Bradford Varner on August 31, 1963.
To this union a son Jeffery Clay Varner was born on October 13, 1964 and a daughter, Bobbi Jo (Varner) Bartles born April 27, 1967. Brad and Carol were divorced in 1971.
On August 7, 1972 Carol was united in marriage to Dannie Hugh Kinder in Rockport, Missouri. Upon this union Carol gained 2 step-children, Julie Ann and Andy Wayne and on May 14, 1974 Dannie and Carol were blessed with the birth of their daughter Angela Sue "Beansoup".
It's difficult to sum up Carol Ann's life in only a few paragraphs but we can say that her life was full! Her greatest joys were sharing her love of the Lord, being a loving and devoted wife and mother and smothering her grandbabies no matter how old with love and kisses. Her love for any family member was selfless, in fact there were many arguments among nieces, nephews and cousins that Carol Ann was their grandma too! Along with the privledge of being one of Carol Ann's kids, grandkids or adopted grandkids, as quick as she was to dish out kisses she was just as quick to give out a famous smack to the back of the head if you screwed up. If friendships were measured by riches, Carol Ann was wealthy beyond our imagination and the lives she touched are immeasurable.

Carol was one of the first friends I made when I moved half way across country to Eagleville in 2006. I found the Eagleville Baptist church one Sunday morning and felt so lost. Carol quickly came to me and befriended me and helped me to feel comfortable. I am so sorry for all the things she had to suffer and for the fact that I did not find her and visit. I know she is in heaven and singing with the angels now and I will see her again one day..

Having Carol as a neighbor, friend, and guardian angel for my girls, and I was one of the most beautiful blessings in my life. I always loved listening to her sing on Sunday mornings at Eagleville Baptist Mission, and loved more stopping by her home to visit when we lived close by each other. Carol, you will always be loved, and missed by me.

Carol was very special to us. She sang at our wedding and watched Caleb and Ethan grow up as they rode her school bus. She never failed to ask about them. She will be missed but the heavenly choir sounds just a little sweeter today! Jerry "Wheat" and Mary Baker, Clearfield

I remember Carol Ann being a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice and so full of love. She always had a smile on her face. She's singing amongst the most beautiful of Heavenly Father's children, using that angelic voice once again. My prayers are with you all at this time.

Earth lost a beautiful soul on the first day of this new year . I am very saddened at that fact, but know she was ready to be with her Heavenly Father and join her precious son. May her children, grandchildren, family and friends look at her life of spiritual grace and know we had a human angel in our midst. I feel so blessed to be led to the Lord by this precious lady! I can only hope to live a life as Godly as Carol Ann Kinder did. You will be missed by so many!!
