Norman Willey

Harold Norman Willey, son of Harold Franklin & Erma Fern (Danielson) Willey, was born February 29, 1936, at Mount Ayr, Iowa.

Following high school, Norman served his country in the US Army. He was stationed in Korea for a while. After his honorable discharge, Norman worked construction. On November 2, 1974, Norman married Pamela Gragg in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Norman and Pam moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming in 1975. Norman worked construction before working 23 years at Stauffer’s Chemical.

Norman liked to go camping and spend time with his family. He enjoyed going with Pam as she competed in pool tournaments. He will always be remembered as a funny, witty, happy man that put smiles on the faces of people he met.

Norman entered into rest on July 8, 2021, at Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Erma Willey; sister Marilyn Mohr; brother-in-law Jim Mohr; and nephew Michael Mohr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Pamela Willey; son Michael Eugene (Billie) Willey; grandson Michael Norman Willey; granddaughter Roseann Holcomb; great grandson Logan Martinez; sister Linda (Dave) Matheny; many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Memorials are in his name to be decided.

I'll miss you Uncle Norman, I'll always remember the fun we had when we'd come visit you and Aunt Pam. The four-wheeling and visiting old towns, war places, with you using your metal detector. Till I see you again, rest easy. I love you.. Love Always, your niece Stacey.
